Here at Woodland Cottage you will find everything you could wish for holidays, whether it is a relaxing walk along a nature trail or a game of golf. Deep leafy woods with hikers paths stretching for miles where you can see elk, wild boar, starks and kites. There are six fishing lakes and five put and take fishing lakes in the area. If you fancy a walk in the countryside there is Frostavallen, 5 km from Woodland Cottage. Shifting scenery with forest, meadows, lakes and hills. An area for walks and absorbing the sights and sounds of the countryside. Pools and open-air life all year round. There are traditional stately homes with attractive gardens and ancient cultural settings. Norreskogs Icelandic horses are just 10 minutes away from Woodland Cottage and offer 3 hour rides with a stop for a picnic. There is a choice of golf, football golf and miniture golf in the area. In Höör you can visit Skånes zoo with approximately 800 animals from Scandinavia, representing 85 species.
You will find Bosjökloster Mansion 10 km away from Woodland Cottage. The mansion was a Benedictine Monastery in 1080-1536. The castle is surrounded by a beautiful park which has a 1000 year old oak tree and lovely manicured gardens.
As always in Skåne there is good food which includes local produce from the forests and lakes. If you come to Woodland Cottage you will come to the heart of Skåne. You will always receive a warm welcome here.
Downstairs your holiday home has a large, fully equipped kitchen, lunch room as well as living room with open fire. You will also find a furnished balcony and a glazed "Orangery", where you can spend pleasant evenings together. Also the beds for the children and the children´s chairs are downstairs. Upstairs there are totally four bedrooms, among them one with balcony, a bathroom, shower and at the same time two open usable floor spaces with sofas in order to relax or to meet other people .
