A holiday home at the beautiful island of "Selaön" with a view of the lake. This island is the largest inland lake island of Sweden and is located at the "Mälaren".
This is a recommendation for all those people, who want to enjoy nature or to go in for sports and who have, last but not least, the cultural aspect in their field of vision.
Only about 100 meters away from the holiday home you can cast the line from a bridge and some meters more go for a short swim. Cycling, golfing or long and extended walks a t the beautiful pathes around the island or even strawberry-picking are only some recommendations for our part.
It is not far to Stallarholmen with its shopping facilities, especially fresh fish and smoked fish.
Mariefred and the castle of Gripsholmare located near and also Strängnäs offers a lot of sights and activities, among other things the beautiful cathedral, the graphic artist´ house, and if you are on-site during week 27, then you can experience the Viking festival with horsemen games etc..
Quite interesting is also Eskilstuna (about 90 km away) with its zoo. And in case you will decide for a day trip, then Stockholm is about 100 km away from your holiday place.
The holiday home has a living room with convertible sofas, an open fire, a large balcony with infrared heating and open fire, which is partly covered, two bedrooms with double bed, kitchen and WC with shower. You can also rent a guest house with bunk bed during the summer.
The property is really child-friendly and, of course, you will find here the necessary garden furniture and a grill for pleasant barbecue evenings.
