Halmstad, the popular tourist town, is only about 10 km away, so that you can visit there quite conveniently the sights, but also a lot of cosy restaurants, Miniland and other places of interest.
Further destinations during your holidays could be "Väderö" of Halland, Kullens Naturreservat, Liseberg in Göteborg or the large shopping center at Ullared.
