A cosy small holiday home you can use at Västervik, only about 300 meters away from the so-called "Verkebäcksviken" and the port.
Västervik, which is located directly at the East Coast, has in addition to many urban features, particularly timber houses, dating from the 17. and 18.century, still more interesting aspects to offer, like a very popular outdoor pool. You can go by ferry from Västervik to Verkebäckshamnen, there is a narrow-gauge railway to Vaxjö and, of course, a lot of shops, perhaps for one or the other shopping tour.
It is not far to the world-famous glassworks of Orrefors, Kosta and Åfors. Also a trip to "The World of Astrid Lindgren" in Vimmerby should be considered in your holiday planning.
Your small holiday home has a relatively large living room with a convertible sofa, kitchen, WC with shower and a smaller bedroom with two single beds.
