The holiday home "Smedjan", which means "forge", is located at Arbelunda near Kårehamn at one of the most beautiful and - because of the partally exotic vegetation - most interesting islands of Sweden, Öland.
To your holiday domicile belongs a large and child-friendly property, where you will not be disturbed. After only about two kilometers you will reach the seaside resort.
Because of the unusual natural conditions at the island, it is, of course, particularly suited for people interested in nature and still more for ornithologists.
In general the island offers something special for all tastes. After a restful day at one of the many lovely sandy beaches you can visit, for example, the island town of Borgholm, the colossal castle ruin near Borgholm or the castle of Solliden and the holiday residence of the royal family. Also the recreation area and zoo of Öland is not far away as well as the really lovely seaport Kalmar with all its sights.

- Bedclothes and towels have to be brought along.
- Two bedrooms (1. with two single beds, which can be put together, 2. with bunk bed)
- A guest house with bunk bed and kitchenette can be additionally rented for 1250 SEK/week
- SAT TV: German, English, French, Polish and Spanish programmes, also Swedish TV (Canal Digital/Viasat). Please don´t forget to take along your own card for the box
- A rowing boat can be rented for 500 SEK/week
- Day of arrival and departure will be Saturday
- The landlord takes a deposit of 500 SEK, payable at the day of arrival
