To spend the holidays at the island of Öland , is always something special, not only because of the mild climate and the beautiful bathing beaches, above all in the north of the island, but also because of the unusual features concerning the scenery and the strange/exotic vegetation.
You will spend your holidays at a holiday home in Stacketorp in the northern part of the island, directly bordering on the so-called "Alvaret" (a special vegetation like in a steppe).
Your holiday home, which has a good standard in furnishing, has totally 6 rooms, kitchen and shower. At the property you will also find a small guest house with four more places to sleeep, which can also be rented.
In the garden, which is beautifully laid out, you will find mainly fruit trees. You will also recognize here the Öland stones, typical for this island.
A lot of activities and sights are waiting for you. For example, you can visit the castle ruins of Borgholm or the castle of Solliden and the holiday domicile of the royal family. Perhaps you will also devote time to a trip to the well-known zoo and amusement park of Färjestaden.
Or you can even simply relax at one of the beautiful sandy beaches in the nearer surrounding.
