Lovely countryside with the neighborhood of cows across the street. Bring your morning coffee with you out on the porch and wake up to the birds while you take in the views of Kalmar Sound. Position yourself right and you could see all the way over to Öland (the island) and Borgholm.
Kalmar with its many historic sites, including the Kalmar Castle, also offers an amazing amount of restaurants and pubs for its size as well as shopping. To the Kingdom of Glass incl. KostaBoda and Orrefors it is a 45 minutes drive.
Or take the 3 hours ferry to Visby on Gotland to experience Medieval times. The area is excellent for canoers, bikers and hikers. Whether crossing between the small islands along the coast or taking it to Alsterån (creek for swimming, boating and fishing) or a bit further to Emån. Golfing is offered in Mönsterås (13 km) as well as in Kalmar (Värsnäs – 30 km).
This winterized home features a brand new fully loaded modern full height birch kitchen and an adjoining dining area seating 8-12 people in front of three large floor-to-ceiling windows. On rainy days, turn around and enjoy the cast iron stove (kamin). New appliances in stainless steel including the dishwasher.
Brand new tastefully decorated bathroom offering an extra large shower area with design glass door. Separate laundry room from the other entrance where washer and dryer are available.
The house offers a furnished porch as well as garden furniture and a small barbecue. With a little bit of luck the landlord will be able to offer a 30 square meters large deck in the back for summer afternoons and evenings.
The sun hits the porch in the morning hours and toward the afternoon and evening you will enjoy the sun behind the house along the façade, which makes for nice outdoor dinners and barbecue evenings.
The living room is comfortable and generous in size with many large windows toward the east and south.
There is a 28” TV (no cable) and DVD for rainy days as well as a boom box with a CD-player with a roaring sound . Three steps lead you directly into the backyard.

- A canoe can be rented on-site for 600 SEK/week
- 5 bikes are available in different sizes. They can be rented for 100 SEK/bike/week
- Day of arrival and departure will be Saturday (arrival after 4 p.m.; departure not later than 10 a.m.)
- The mentioned TV only works for DVD playing and has no channels
